Context
Coca-Cola FEMSA offers its customers a B2B SaaS ordering platform with an integrated loyalty system. Customers use it for real-time promotions and reward redemption. It is the main account I manage at Capgemini, in parallel with other projects.
Responsibilities
- Oversight of delivery, team performance and budget.
- Communication with client stakeholders and technical quality of each initiative.
- Technical roadmaps defined with the tech leads, and backlog prioritization across products.
- 1:1s, performance reviews, mentoring and individual development plans.
Outcomes
- Team scaling: from 2 to 22 engineers between 2023 and 2025, across Front End, Mobile, Back End, DevOps and data science.
- Contribution margin: from 36% to 55.6%, through team restructuring, workload alignment and financial forecasting.
- AI in development: I introduced GitHub Copilot and GitLab Duo into the workflow. Delivery speed improved by approx. 15%, measured by comparing AI-assisted resolved tickets against the average of previous sprints. I also defined the account’s development strategy with AI agents and MCP.
- Connected ecosystem: I led delivery of the ordering and loyalty platforms as a single ecosystem.
- Standardized CI/CD: I oversaw the DevOps engineers’ pipeline implementation, aligned with the client’s architecture.
- Agile transformation: I trained the team in Scrum and Kanban so it could adapt to shifting priorities.
